I don't see this one as much of a threat, if anyone can not see through the broken English and realize it was created by the same people who send out the inheritance tax emails they probably should not be equipped with climbing gear anyhow ;-)
Yeah for sure.... You just know somewhere out in tree land a guy has had an early version wide open for 5 minutes waiting for the RPMs to change........ ;-)
I like the second sequence on the newest models....seems a lot more likely to calibrate correctly and also the RPM changes allows you to be certain that the function is indeed working.
Hsell, agree with that completely. The 50/1 oil mix recommendations are a result of emissions and the EPA, not the result of testing showing that less oil causes less wear.
Could be wrong, but as a retired mechanic with a ton of racing experience this is what I would expect.
Gasoline will produce more power per ounce than oil so a leaner mix will produce quicker cut times. In addition gasoline undergoes a lot more evaporation than oil so (assuming there is enough...
PS also agree with the post by Wes, sometimes bubbles are tiny and surface tension will cause them to adhere in remote locations and until they are dislodged they will compress and cause problems.
The shop could be on the right track,
Attach a voltmeter to different locations on the machine and see if the voltage is jumping when the problem occurs. You could have damaged the battery or connections when it flipped. Also of course go around and wiggle connections and look for any damage to...
I took my first year of youtube arborist training watching cowboy's cutting loose 300 lb chunks, spinning them as they swing and ring the spar a few feet from the guy in the tree.....I knew I could probably perform the same work myself albeit not nearly as quickly but also knew that was not...
Any chance of posting this on youtube or some other resource where it can be shared to educate customers? Been looking for a good video or picture series, where I can email a link to illustrate the damages done by the practice.
Avgas is your friend, it will keep for years and has basically zero varnish.
If their is not a local airport that will sell you avgas you can use Puregas.org to find sources for pump gas without ethanol.....just make sure to verify the source by phone before driving out to find they only sell...
I am in full agreement with the dangers of used motor oil, as a retired mechanic I was always careful to keep that shit off my skin as much as possible....the other really big one (other than spray solvents) was used conventional ATF that had seen clutch slippage.....that shit would literally...
Damn, sorry to hear about your loss. Glad to hear you were able to get past the injury without a lot of financial hardship.
I am no doctor but from what you have said I totally agree that you made the right choice.....even if everything went perfect it would have been a long time before you...
Without bothering to read the whole thing (sorry) it seems they were pretty much solely concerned with exhaust from two strokes....I wonder how much of a risk factor absorption through the skin and lungs of chain lube is....might be something to consider if switching to an electric saw to try to...
I live in Mont Co MD which is the libtard center of the world....That said the guy who told me that was why he had to sell his C&D may well have been mistaken.
Retired mechanic here, but no specific knowledge of the chipper, but just looking at your vid I can see no movement of any of the gauges on the cluster? So my first thoughts would be that there may be a bad connection between the battery and ignition switch or the switch itself my be bad.
Maybe...
Question from a non climber.
On the basal anchor issue, wouldn't it be a simple matter for the comp organizers to use a large nylon ratchet strap with a series of short straps with biners at the ends setup in advance to allow competitors to attach their lines to? Seems a 3 inch wide strap with...
Not a pro but have used tiny machines and (IMHO) they are a waste of good time and energy.
Add to that the bearings and drum look like they came of an old Life Fitness treadmill so as others have said major repairs would be inevitable.
One note though, while chuck and ducks are a great deal and...
