    Go to canopy anchor?

@dbtree on instagram had a pretty thorough post on why he doesn’t use a pinto in the above configurations. And has some good solutions too. Food for thought on “approved” vs. “it’s worked for me for x years” …

    Go to canopy anchor?

Another option would be a ring and ring installed same as for MRS but knot blocked. And retrieved with retrieval ball on working end. Allows for very minimal friction, like pulling a basal anchor out of multiple redirects. I don’t use it much but comes in handy sometimes. My go to is a soft eight.

    Arborvitae uproot

@ATH Thanks for all this info. I hadn’t thought about what goes on in developments when building and how they strip off that top layer of soil. I can take a closer look but definitely can bet on a heavy clay underneath the berm. I don’t think weed mat was placed underneath but I bet these...

    Arborvitae uproot

Hey y’all. Looking for some ideas and suggestions. I have a client with a row of arborvitae planted broad side to prevailing wind. The landscaper who installed them (guessing 10 or more years ago) built a very small berm and planted directly into the berm. I now have multiple uprooting bushes...

Arbsession sells just the pod where you can install your own rope. Not sure what the overall length can be with different diameter ropes. https://arbsession.com/sawpod-ropepod-complete-kit.html

    Knee ascender attachment

Easier to just take a couple pictures. Bungie goes through beeline sheath with some friction but not horrible. Works great.

    Morbark TW-280PHB chipper

So far I have been using it to drag branches that I place in a waste management bagster. Best 35$ spent. Super versatile tarp/bag equipment cover etc. but basically dragging brush and loading wood in bucket. It could use some counter weights. Working on that… figuring it out. It jussst moves the...

    Morbark TW-280PHB chipper

Agreed Reach, maybe a solenoid somewhere. I have very limited electrical knowledge. And this machine is so bare bones and basic that it’s hard to even look at anything from the outside and nail it down. Hopefully the guys at the shop figger it out real quick. But they’re down a few guys and it’s...

    Morbark TW-280PHB chipper

Wellllll, with 23 hours on the machine, I’ve had my first breakdown. Forward function on the feed wheels stopped working mid chip. Reverse works. No forward. Luckily the shop is right down the road. Bummed though. That puts me out of commission with no backup. Mechanic said it should be covered...

Ya the curtain. Words were not finding my brain. Also interesting, my exhaust is plumbed out underneath the chassis instead of out the top as yours is.

    Morbark TW-280PHB chipper

Yup! Haven’t tried feeding with a machine. And I took the plastic barrier thing right off. I’ve been really liking how small and lightweight the machine is. I bought a 3,000 dollar Chinese mini mini skid steer and it moves it just fine. I put a 2 “ ball hitch on the bucket of the machine and...

    How you pick your name?

Haha thanks man. Always liked your original logo and small axe idea. I’ve seen a few guys on the buzz with preservation in the name. But everyone around my neck of woods is some combo of initials followed by tree service. I wanted to separate myself from that a bit. Time will tell, and the...
