zigzag

ps. I like to snoop around with a little spare time and noted that on treehouse Paul Cox may have insinuated a variation, like his hitch hiker (VS RW) that my guess may include mid line installable?? Pure speculation tho.

What?

yeah, substitute Bingham for Paul Cox and see post 49. would copy the post and paste it but got banned over there a few years ago. Took it as he may be developing a mid line similar mech. hitch but...maybe not. Doesn't seem out of the realm of possibility a midline attachable device could be fabricated like this.

I've been using the zz since jan. with velocity. And I just recently saw the pics showing the wear points with srt use. When I checked mine out it was showing wear in the same location, even though I have not used it with srt. Has anyone else seen the same results?

I havent flown it, but its clear to me, just having handled it that it sits in one orientation while having the standing line clipped into the top and in another, different orientation while it isnt.

so I just took an awesome, up close shot of the zz's wear points and for some reason can't up load the pic. says my file is too large? its just one pic. any way around this?

upload it to picasa, flickr, any web site and then just link it in img tags

replace .... with link no spaces. or you can email it to me and I will do it.

Thanks for the pic.

The left of that looks like it has a decent sharp burr on it. If that were my ZZ wouldn't be happy.

That pic alone is enough for me to wait for the next version.

Has anyone sent the pics like this that are popping up to Petzl?

the sky is falling

If it's only the sky we can deal with it.

If climbers are falling we'll have a harder time.

This evening I was part of an SRT discussion where I learned that some climbers are finding the burr is shredding ropes. Apparently...just hear-say for now...Petzl is aware.
