This caused a yelling match between me and the boss today I won't spoil the thread with my bitching. Notice the chain and binder? Massive lead that would open and close 3" with a lite breeze. Lead is over the garage and another tree. I don't understand the mentality of ive been doing this for 30 years and done much worse. Hey let's take this down with a 17t crane with 90' of boom. Tomorrow is day 2. Coulda been done with a 60t in one day. Someday I'll find a decent place to work or I'll just go back in biz for myself! Long story but I have a headache from being pissed for 6 hours straight.

The argument wasn't over the crane it was that after taking about 4 limbs off it the bucket we rented ran out of boom. Basically it was lions tailed up to the last 30' and he felt like I should climb the rest to rig small crane pics. I wouldn't climb it even with a chain on it was still moving in the wind. Not cool

I wouldn't dream of climbing above that. First off, I don't really like looking down into a nasty, crotch crack. Puts me out of the mood. That one is downright scary looking.

I don't blame ya', Steve. I'd have been fuming, too.
But, if it cheers you up any, I got that package off in the mail, today. I had to go do stupid stuff with downed limbs, Monday and forgot about it until this morning.
