Yikes ! I've seen a lot of bad stuff over the years but crap that ones pretty close to first place for worst ever mutilation or ..... I'm lost for words on that one ! Maybe just tired ! I'll just second Jeff's appropriate comment!View attachment 40169
Check out this beaut. Huge mulberry for today. 2 sets of "do it yourself" cabling and a frickin huge chain that someone attempted to hold a couple leads together with and a birdhouse wired on. Human intervention did this tree far more bad than good
Right around 48" dbhThat is a huge mulberry. Nasty mess. Hope you had fun
@Steve Connally, I didn't know you were with Atlantic.... Seem like pretty good guys.Yes I do actually do a dead tree once in a while. This was a big old bull pine.
Yeah man. I saw your chip truck go by at least once. We took down 16 of them and pruned 9. Nice little rig you've got there.@Steve Connally, I didn't know you were with Atlantic.... Seem like pretty good guys.
Were you out on Dam Neck Rd on Tuesday? I believe I saw Atlantic there taking down a row of pines....

Cool Steve have fun out there and stay safe !The storm still ended up whacking us pretty good. Plucking trees of houses all week with a 60t. I hate storm work but my crane slings were irreplaceable today. Every pic flew textbook and the crane op was so happy he let me stay tied into the ball under load as I cut. No suitable tie in points. I'd bomb out after the cut before he moved the pic. No time for photos but here's two of the trees and there's hundreds more trees like that all over.
