Thanks Mike! Tis but a scratch, is all.
I was operating that MS150 just like a Sushi chef filleting a goldfish.
Largish beech today.
The beagle is on top of his world.

We removed 3 huge (for aspens) yesterday. My 20 year old niece moved down here to help me with my business and is outworking most of the grown men I hire as groundcrew. She has been wanting to climb since she started and I let her go up about 20 feet and cut her first branch with the handsaw. She took to it, so it will be time to buy her proper boots soon. She wants timberland boots because of the rapper style.0917161341.webp

I told my niece as long as she kicks ass, she can take her own breaks and text or facebook or whatever. Since she started working with me I haven't touched a rake, push broom, or blower. She likes the 200t, but the 390 is too heavy. I have her limbing with a rigid battery operated reciprocating saw with a pruning blade that actually cuts amazingly well. I am a very proud uncle.

Worked just outside the city yesterday on this gorgeous property. My dream home. This willow was starting to develop a crack at the base of one of it's leaders so we reduced and cabled that stem, and deadwooded the rest of the tree. Three guys up in the tree at one point.

I took out this big blue spruce out of Fraser, Colorado yesterday. I just bought this 2003 Ram 2500 last month and it kicked butt getting over Berthoud pass (11,000+ feet in elevation) with the logs and chipper. Had a giant bull elk and a beautiful red fox walk through the work zone.ermine.webp
