Trump allowed a gun sale Obama wouldn't

At least Governments are responsible with weapons :loco:

I keep reading NRA line item fighting points. Like an animal in distress.

I am Not Fighting & I am certainly not Distressed.

I am sharing actual statistics & factual information, from Unbiased Sources.

You on the other hand, are just being argumentative & attempting to start a fight with anyone who with respond to you.

Where’s the Value in that?

"I am sharing actual statistics & factual information from Unbiased Sources"

So why that shit about every genocide in history preceded by civilian disarmament?

That's more a display of evidence of your brain disorder than "factual" evidence of a truth. Come on man, get to thinking for yourself for even just a moment once and awoke. So easy to manipulate a brain/thought process when critical thinking abilities simply aren't there. Home school advocate? Keep any kids tied to the bedposts? Hungry? The same haircuts? Voted for trump, that's pretty evident.

@oakwilt:

Since we were supposedly discussing gun control laws, why don't you simply answer the question I posed above?

What makes you think someone willing to commit 17 acts of premeditated murder gives a single fu*k about a local gun permit/possession law? Like, "Ya know, I was totally gonna lay waste to my own school and kill like 50 people, but I just couldn't bear the thought of those 6 months of probation and $100 fine for illegally possessing this gun on top of my 975 year prison sentence".

Deep down you know I'm right, but I don't expect you to admit it. Not easy to solve.

I didn’t quote every Genocide in history, although many of them do share Civilian Disarmament as an unofficial Pre-Amble.

Why do you continue to be Derogatory & Hate-filled towards me?

Do you not possess the ability to communicate otherwise?

I haven’t been hateful to you.

I haven’t talked about your family or your upbringing, what you do to children, etc...

I’m Genuinely Sorry For You.

I Hope You Find The Answers to whatever Troubles You.

During the last couple days I've done some soul searching.

At this point, not just a bumpstock ban or even form work to apply for purchase sounds reasonable as people's minds dictate behavioral trends..I'm jumping on board for pressing a total ban on Americans buying any more firearms, period.
The 200million already out are more than sufficient from here on out.
Gun shows, private sales, even inheritance. Other countries with better health care, safer work conditions, assistance-based foreign policies and happiness quotient show that we're not just not number one..but zero on the scoreboard. Olympics included.

These idiots reposting the racial fear videos, the govt'mnt coming to take your guns away articles, the white Jesus who hates us because gays can marry...? We stepped lightly not to offend you or anger you and look what we have: trump.
Now step aside, drink some Kool Aid, and stay away from both the voting booth and the internet.

Are your businesses' run like your
worldview of people, politic, and ecumenical "rights?" Are your children exposed or forced to adopt your views on women, rights, racial distrust, or even how you process information?

Not just sad, but borderline criminal.

"Not everyone in history but many..."

Come on. Look what you did, what you sought after to repost, and more importantly, what it said. Most importantly, it influenced your fears of and ignorance to reality. Like trump did to us for the election, afterwards (crowd size), and still (pence dissing an opportunity to discuss issues with other mega-tonnage atomic nitwits). Nuclear war. Biblically, referencing fire and fury, do you want an Armageddon? You want life on earth to cease?
Your actions certainly appear to.

And there it is. Only took until page 8 to get it out of you. I commend you for your honesty, finally.

You are not alone. Liberals have been painted into a corner on this issue. Many Americans have known for a long time that this is your real desire. Hence their fear of slippery slopes. Michael Moore also admitted recently that he is in favor of repealing the Second Amendment. Finally! Honesty.

Millions of Americans still believe it is their God-given right to use guns to protect themselves, their family and their property. We will never eradicate guns in this country. I bet it would be more productive to start working on the other side of the equation.

Quotes Work better if you actually, you know, quote the person you reference.

Why is it you refuse to answer direct questions?

Why So Bitter?

Thank You For Finally, albeit not too numerously, being honest of your true intentions.

Why? Because of the key word homicide... cars are for transportation, right? We need to get around. No one said, "well I was walking to work and I had an accident with my gun, killed a dozen people." People get into cars knowing the risk. People shoot up heroin knowing the risk. No one is running around stabbing peeps with needles causing them to OD. Just more Roger Ailes talking points to me. Completely separate issues...

So those people who didn’t do the drugs or drink, that still perish any less important? They aren’t.

A death is a death no matter what.

It’s murder either way.

It’s also Illegal: that’s not stopping the folks who’ve done it.

More gun control laws won’t either.

This is what I'm hearing from the pro gun/2nd amendment folks-

"The deaths from mass shootings are acceptable fallout from our need to own and posses guns for self protection from tyrannical governments." AKA acceptable loss of life. Am I missing something?

No Deaths are “Acceptable.”

I don’t have the Answers, but I do know that Gun Control isn’t the Answer.

I'm standing with kids on this. The victims. Pro-assault rifle types I know well..they opted out of the draft when I had to go. I own weapons, even use them legitimately but the difference is, I know what carnage they cause in the wrong hands and every fear-mongering active duty avoiding racist fearful far-right idiot who's thin skins go out and crowd-shoot at innocents should be databased, watched, and controlled as need be. Obama ordered background checks on purchasers, trump rescinded that.
Pretty easy words to spread. Even most idiots can know it depending on which tap they absorb their information from.
How many of these knee-jerk white supremicists ever had the pleasure of wearing a CIB? History shows they never did. They couldn't even make it beyond boot camp. Thank God.

To me that seems like a strange oxymoron, in the theme of how words, terms etc, the meaning of them is changed to manipulate minds. I grew up with firearms as a huge part of my life. Gun Control was the first thing I was taught about firearms. I mean, who doesn't want to control their guns?

Gun Control & having Control of a Firearm are 2 Completely Different things.

Ph.D's don't impress me. Many of them live very insulated lives in the halls of academia. As one of my heroes once famously said, "I'd rather be governed by the first 400 people in the Boston phonebook than the faculty at Harvard".

I personally am comfortable contemplating this possible reality, but I refuse to accept this as a permanent universal truth about humanity. There is another side of the coin we can embrace and nurture. I believe we can evolve past killing over resources... maybe.

I wish it were true, but History has time & time again proven otherwise.

So Much So that I no longer trust any form of Government, at any capacity.

I’ve seen the ill effects of over reach too many times.

History has a knack for repeating itself if not respected.

Sure, in the way that the words have been redefined. Just think about the words for what they are "gun control" sounds like a good idea to me, objectively. But this has been spun into a world where gun lovers flip their lids when they hear these words... you want to talk about fascism and what not, I am far more concerned about people stealing the meaning of words from me than I am my guns. Sounds like double think to me.

In the Same Breath you admitted there is a difference.

You & I, even Oakwilt, didn’t spin that one.

Please Think About It.

Hmm, I wonder how many PHDs it took to get us on this digital interface? Would like prefer the 400 people out of the Boston phone book perform brain surgery on you or a loved one? Yeah, not impressed.

Digital Interface?
Probably None.

The Context Matters.
