Today....

Quoted back to back jobs today for new clients where each had recently lost a husband to esophageal cancer. Interesting coincidences, not like I go up to strangers and ask these things, but helpful to be reminded of the unseen connections between people and humanity in general. So easy for one to feel isolated/disconnected in this world

Climbed one doug- fir to 70', deadwooding, and canopy raising to 35', swung over to two more to deadwood to 50'. 1-1.5 yards of chips. A vented dust mask has been a significant help. @Steve Connally got me going on the idea with RZ masks, similar to the no name mask I am wearing. Lots of dust in dry, dead limbs and chipping.

My employee canopy raising a doug- fir over a fence. 20230505_120019.jpg20230505_120030.jpg20230505_133932.jpg20230505_140448.jpg20230505_161933.jpg20230505_161952.jpg

I ran our crane today myself. I have operated a bunch but not much with this new crane as Im usually climbing with it. I could get used to this crane. Its very nice to operate. This thing has lots of capacity at distance. 89ft and 4200 lbs of net lift capacity with 125 ft of boom out. Still 92 ft up too.

That’s a very nice display. Do you find yourself looking at the bottom left corner mostly? My display puts the same info in the bottom right, just above the percentage bar.
