Today....

We've had some pretty crazy rain here the last couple days a friend of mine lost a bunch of big oaks, their 3 cars got crushed including the classic dodge pickup and one landed on his house. He was extremely lucky no roof damage except on the eaves. We've got another week of rain in the forecast we got the house cleared off today going to try for the cars tomorrow.

How bad were they? The damage to the cars
They might all be totaled, he had full coverage on the excursion and the white Acura, the old dodge is on the other side of the excursion it was super clean almost all original. The dodge took the worst of it the cab and doors are pretty much completely smashed in. The excursion roof is dented in but not holes or visible damage so even if it gets totaled it's easy to "fix" and drive around. The mdx rear hatch it smashed along with the rear pillers and the roof on the back.

madsens1.com has advice for bending the bar back, if it is not cracked.

Yah, I've had bars fixed before at Woods Logging. I'm hoping this one is fixable, but I don't know, it's got like two bends and a twist in it, haha.

Anyways, after a recent thread where you and I talked about battery saws vs the 2511, I busted mine out today since it had been ages since I used it last. Honestly I'd forgotten how light it is, and that it certainly is fun and easy on the body. On this bushy dead fir I was just making it rain limbs, so it idled the whole tree, meaning pull-starting wasn't an issue, and lightweight won as the most useful saw feature.
