Trust me it's not so bad. Takes a moment or two for the shock to wear off. Mind you I stand 6'4" so I have a bit of space to spread out the weight.

So what's the magic rope that this thing loves... Sorry, I know what you are all thinking, but no I don't have one yet... Anyway, I have a KM III 200' which is still in really good shape, but my other two Imori 150' and Tachyon 100' are ready to be retired. Does anyone have the magic rope that the Rope Runner, BDB, and Akimbo all work beautifully on? Even though I don't have the Akimbo yet, I want to make sure this next rope works with it...just in case.

For me it's the Yale poison ivy family. I know it works with sterling 11mm HTP.
