In the Nederlands or the whole of Europe and the UK? How do you know this for a fact?
Off Topic - Wolter, why do some people call the Nederlands - Holland? most people in the UK call the Nederlands - Holland? why does your country have two names?

The whole country including its Caribbean islands is The Kingdom of the Netherlands. Holland is part of the Netherlands. I think the confusion comes from the capital being in Holland. This is what my friend from Curacao told me.
[/ QUOTE ]The introduction date is official for at least the tiny spot of the world between England, Denmark, Germany and Belgium called Nederland.
Off Topic Grover. Banjo summed it up quite nicely and almost right. The kingdom of the Netherlands is more than the little spot in Europe. In 'our' bad days 'we' owned more than just the Caribbean. Parts of America where part of our kingdom, Belgium and Indonesia and lots of islands over there where 'ours' too.
Where we live the country is called Nederland, but in the old days the western part of our country was covered with forest (in old Dutch this was called Holt). Holtland became Holland and Holland is just a small part of the Kingdom of the Netherlands and also just a small part of the country called Nederland.
The main reason why we call our whole country abroad "Holland" is that we know how difficult it is for 'foreigners' to pronounce "The Netherlands".
