Rigging a rotting tree over a new roof

I'm reading this thread for the 1st time. I'm with the poster. I know this species of tree and wouldn't hesitate to climb, rig, and remove this tree. No big deal. This is simple day's work. It's the debris removal that's difficult.

Joe, i never saw that thread either.

But just noticed it was a 2007 thread. LOL.

and tree did not look rotten to me as the title said. that dark color was just from the junk in the seam. yeah, i saw the mild lighting strike streaks.

did not look any weaker from the recent tear off. but I'd have to see more pictures to be more sure.

did not look risky.

did not look like a big deal.

Ranger danger, with the economy change, I bet you found plenty of good skilled "American" workers now a days, huh?
