question about cabling

Thanks, it’s been a while since I’ve looked at cobra specs. I shrugged it off when I read the instructions and found “not to be used to support a defect”. Or some such verbiage
 
Steel is pretty bomb proof in good trees.
I see busted steel systems around here. Usually a large live oak. I don't know if they go slack and bust upon retightening, or if they just bust from going from taut to tight. It's possible that it was installed slack...

Why would you install it in a "good" tree? ;) That statement seems a bit self fulfilling, if I may poke around...
