"New" throwbags

Re: \"New\" throwbags

I think that the story would have been different if Weaver had actually taken the HR and made improvements upon it. Instead it appears they tried to rip off the concept and cut corners with a resulting product that has left everyone like WTF? thats not cool

Re: \"New\" throwbags

Need help improving the product? Use paper as fabric. Nice 100 dollar bills will do the trick. And while you are at it I would suggest that the ring is replaced by a paperclip.

I really would like to see that e-mail and the proposed offer that was send to Andy. No need to reply, I just was wondering out loud.

Re: \"New\" throwbags

hey, anyone want to debate religion after this, or maybe politics, or hey, how bout abortion rights or a good discussion on reparations? its funny that not one person is listening to the other, just waiting their turn to talk, honestly i think we could figure out the whole isralie palistinian thing out if we put this much thought and effort into it.

i agree with both sides of the story, i feel like harrison was ripped off but at the same time buying the same quality throw bag for half the price isnt so bad either, i think its great that the bags are now more easily accessible to newbies like myself, honestly if harrison wants to stay in business he should just knock the price down, if his product is everything everyone says it is then it will sell itself and sherrill will have plenty of neo bags laying around or being exchanged because it isnt up to par with its less accessible but stronger counter part

I think thats the whole point... The quality of Weaver's product isn't as good as that of the Harrison Rocket. Consider the additional expense of having to ship your busted Weaver bags back every couple weeks for a replacement. Which bag is expensive now?

Apparently they do sell themselves. Why would he reduce the price if everyone here who has tried the knockoffs say the Harrison is worth the money?

Re: \"New\" throwbags

Sounds like they have it under control and the new production run will be as good as the HR if not better!

I think the reduced price comes from not shipping the bags around the world like the HR. Use the Weaver bag and have a smaller carbon footprint - lol.

Re: \"New\" throwbags

i have had one of these new throw bags for about a week now and it totally blew out today, it was a 12oz, ill have pics tomorrow, i thought i brought it home with me but i left it in the truck, it has only had about 10 throws and the seams busted out, i also have a 14 oz bag and it has already begun to blow out, i kept the receit, i guess ill give sherrills 6 month warrantee a try

Re: \"New\" throwbags

I've been using a 10oz for a couple of months now with no ill effects... I've dropped it on pavement from over 50' several times. Sounds like that OH production line may be a little spotty.
I trust Sherrill's to get it right or drop it.

Re: \"New\" throwbags

kentucky, your right, the quality just wasnt there on the sherrill bags but after i emailed them last night about the bags i received a call this morning at 9am saying that they are sending me two replacement bags and i need to send them my old bags back, honestly if someone would post a web address on where i could find a harrison rocket id be purchasing one right now, ive been in the business for over two years now and i am just now hearing about these bags, i guess i can thank the buzz for that, does anyone know where i can pick up a rocket?

RichH says they'll have some for sale at the Fresco booth if you're going to TCIA Expo. I plan on picking up a couple.

I've been trying to look up some things on their site for two days now and I keep getting Internal Server Error. It's the only sight this happens on. Anybody know anything about that?
