My new knuckleboom

My sign guy showed up over the weekend and took some artistic liberty out on my truck. I love when someone has their own ideas and the balls to do it

Never saw it. If We were in the same town, I would change it. Hope he’s not too offended
Well it’s kinda different with these trucks and their names. It’s not a geographic thing. It’s the name of the truck. A slogan so to speak. Sort of a gentleman’s agreement not to take or duplicate the trucks alter-identity. May seem silly but........

I don’t know Steve, I guess I just respectfully disagree. I name all my trucks. I’m sure there are some duplicates out there. I didn’t steel a logo, or commercial, or slogan. It’s just a name. I honestly didn’t know. IMO ignorance is an excuse, if i knew I would have done something different. I enjoy being unique. I’m definitely not going to change it now though.

I like the truck! I want one.
But what happens when you need to get into a mature suburban backyard with fences and houses everywhere? Will it fit thru a 36" gate? A real Megatron could ;)

Don’t need to get into the backyard when you can reach to it-usually.

I tried to post a panoramic view picture that I took yesterday where I’m reaching from driveway down the side yard over a fence and into the backyard behind the house next to a yacht picking up a big Oak log, Under the canopy of all the other trees. Unfortunately the picture wouldn’t load and it’s worth 1000 words

Big sycamore removal today. Whole top had fallen on a building. 6’ base cut. I need a 36” mecanil. I had to rig the last 35’

What is he tied off to? Yeah using the Mec isn't a sound practice. You need a dedicated tie in point. I wont even hang guys off the manual extension I use for the mecanil. Anyway my advice would to use plan B on hoisting climbers. Keeps everyone safe and keeps you compliant with the standards.

Can anybody with a 280 please share a video of how fast they have the bar coming down? It seems that I have a slow mine down to a ridiculously slow pace just to make a cut. Otherwise it bogs down immediately. I believe somethings wrong with my grapple saw
