Sg220 I believe is good for 4000So your grapple will only grab and hold 4000lbs for the 280.
mec website says the 280 is rated for 6500
That could be the disparity rite thereSg220 I believe is good for 4000
That’s the other beef I have with Palfinger. The pull out is so weaker than everyone else’s. Still love the truck though.
Whats the fassi rated at? Also the pm100's pullout has inside supports welded in? Hmm i got to see that. @CanaryBoss can u show us a picture of what your talking about? They were all weak, because why would you want it that much stronger than what you could lift, when fully extended...only used at max reach. Now we have a device that uses the manual all the times (short to long reaches). I'm sure they will/are taking steps to beef it up.
It will be nice when the manuals are come beefed up ftom the factory, and not done by the local crane shop.

I was always pretty sure the 220 was good over 4,000 pounds. I guess like was mentioned earlier the pullouts would be the bottle neckTodd called me today. He spoke with mecanil and verified the 280 is good for 6500lbs. I didn’t have the correct information. I stand corrected.
What size chain does the mec run? Also, where do I buy bars from if I need one?
Is that not a chain that can be purchased at a saw shop? I thought it was just 0.63 chain
