???

Are you referring to our desire to get the ISA Chapters on board with working together on scheduling events so that they don't overlap? Or the often discussed idea of organizing the large group of travelling volunteers/techs/judges so that each Chapter would have a pool of qualified impartial help to draw from when running their TCC's ?

YUPPERS that is it

Do any "local" companies have 7 climbers besides the national utility co's?. 7 is great representation.
Jesse, Should competitors be allowed to "work" the competition venue? If So (should I decide to compete) I volunteer to prune the work climb tree... ;-)
Tell Dave to put me down as a sponsor. I'll contact him early next week. Please pm me the contact details.

I am not sure about competitors working the event site. I think it would be OK on the work day but not on the set up right before the comp. I'd like to hear other opinions on the matter.

I am trying to decide what to do about competing myself. I would really like to compete but Dave is going to need my help in setting this thing up. Most likely I will be working the event this year.

We are clear to work at the Henry Clay Estate on Sept. 5th (that is a Saturday) we have several volunteers already, but the more the merrier. Ranger Danger is providing the truck and chipper. I think we will plan on getting started around 9:00am. Nobody wants to get up too early on a Saturday. Come one come all.

Jesse- set-up is what the out-of-staters or "treehogs" are for. You should compete.

All competitors should steer clear of all tree pruning and site set-up.

Hey Ya'll,

Things are shaping up nicely for the upcoming KY TCC. One thing every competitor, volunteer, and sponsor is sure to the leave the Henry Clay Estate with on October 3rd, is the mighty fine t-shirt and a boat load of memories.

For competitors, judges, and techs there will be meetings and gear check Friday evening. Saying that, I realize that I don't know where or when, so I'll try to post the details later.

On to the details that I do know.

Limbwalker proposes that after the competition on Saturday we all over take some poor, unsuspecting eatery. After that, maybe a brisk drive to Louisville (Biggest City in Kentucky) and throw down at the Limbwalker World HQ. There will probably be lots of strange feats done that night. Did I mention our Throwing Tomahawks? Kickball games? Dumpster matches with Jason "The Razor" Raisor. (Not me). Plan on crashing at the shop and getting breakfast Sunday morning.

PS- One way I know we're better than Heartwood... We've never run out of beer at a party.

Technically, we never ran out of beer. You were too drunk to notice though.

And we have something in the works that will give your beer deck a run for the money.
