KY TCC 07

Re: KY TCC 07

I found a surgeon who might be able to help me out...

I asked him over the phone what my options might be to improve my "guns", and this is his reply, totally off the cuff:

Stephan: "Doc, what are my options regarding the buying of guns?"

Doctor: "Bicep and Tricep implants can create muscular definition and increased mass and or fullness in the upper arm area. This procedure is specifically useful for those men and women who, even after extensive muscular conditioning, like you have been doing by climbing one tree per every three beers you drink, can't achieve the upper arm toning they desire. Bicep Implants and Tricep Implants are also recommended for those unique instances when an injury has occurred and muscle mass augmentation is needed to achieve normal balance. "

The conversation then veered toward the bottom line cost of the surgery, and I had to hang up the phone.

Change my order back to XL.

Buy some guns!....That is TOO funny!! I'd show you my guns, EZ, but guys tend to feel all inadequate when shown up by a chick with bigger muscles than themselves!

Just picked up a family ride this afternoon. Mr and Mrs Morningwood and all the little woods will be heading up to KY thursday with signs in tow. We'll have to figure out KYTCC stickers to go over the FLTCC stickers. Hmmmmm.

Exactly how cold will it BE in KY in October??

Can't wait!!

Re: KY TCC 07

That's quite a long trip from FL to KY!

I predict (and my weather predictions are nearly world famous) that the weather is going to be what southerners and poets called "an indian summer". The leaves will be fallen from the trees, the air pregnant with the acrid smell of burning leaves in some old man's yard, and the trees......just right.

I will be driving up there from little old Charlotte, and maybe I will tie some old cans and maybe even a 55 gallon drum behind my truck to advertise that I am indeed driving to Kentucky, and nobody better follow me closer than 100 feet, or risk getting some serious spark damage to their paint jobbie.

I guess I will drive up on Thursday, and I am going to have to kidnap Mo-Rice, because he will try to pull some stunt like "my stomach hurts" or "I have an emergency sweater to knit this weekend!"..... I'm not taking no for an answer this time. The two of us, maybe my brother, and a lot of beef jerky.

And the 55 gallon drum.

Be afraid, Kentucky, be very afraid!

Roger, I am a climber from Missouri and was wondering 1) if out of state folks could participate in the KY competition and 2) if it was too late to sign up. I climbed at the ITCC this year as the female rep from the MW chapter and actually my family and I traveled to KY in the Spring of 06 to observe your competition. I really enjoyed meeting Chris and Cory. Actually, Cory was in my group at the ITCC this year.

I am friends with Rich and Toni and we talked about me coming to KY when I was at ITCC but until last night I had a conflict.

Thanks,

Ann

Re: KY TCC 07

Good news people...and Easy Phloem, the sweater I've been working on is finally done, my tummy is no longer upset, as far as the female guns go.......well some things I have no control over!

This an attempt to regain my honor, which Easy seems to have ripped from deep within my soul...at least I have a soul!

Stay tuned for futher rants..and yes I will be at the comp...and I'm willing to help out in any way that you guys need me to, or I can just stand around and pick up Easy's slack, because he has such a hard time bending over these days, yes Stephan you are wearing shoes today!

Morice OUT!

Re: KY TCC 07

Stay tuned for pictures of my new sweater, size too small to be a tree guy! Now if I could just knit a hat for Easy's big head...does anyone know I how I could get my hands on a few hundred yards of yarn!?

AnnK,
Not only can you participate, We would consider it an honor!
With your participation, you may just be the one who gives other
female arborist the confidence to participate in future competions here
in the big KY! By the way, for the record, your the first female in the history
of the KAA to express an interest in participating. My main goal in taking
the position of chairman, and not participate, was to help the KY chapter get up to speed with other chapter competitions and expose some "old schoolers", in a positive way, to what's up!!! With your participation, half of my prayers have been answered. Just for the record, I'm sure you are aware that you would not be allowed to represent KY internationaly. If you Pm me, I can send you an application, participation waiver.

Yaaaahhooo! Thanks Ann!!!

The morningwoods are looking forward to the trip North. Bringing signs to explain comp to any onlookers. We are open to helping in anyway... Tech, judge, sushi runner. Leaving Thurs PM (long drive). Hanging in KY with all our friends from FL will be a blast. Meeting new friends... priceless! Midninght climbs, anyone? Rich H and Cory, thanks for your help down here last Feb. we are excited to meet up with you again. Can't wait. See you soon. Don and Terri Greene

Ice cold beverages? That would be fantastic. I've never done a midnight climb before. I'm super excited for this special occasion. It's bringing people out of the woodwork.

Would anyone interested in "camping" at our shop PM or call me? Not you Don. I just want to get a head count regarding how many people might want to stay there.

Its not primitive camping. There are 1.5 baths there, so don't be scared. There are the dogs, but they're friendly.

Its coming up fast. I can't wait!

My cell # is 502-376-9637 if there are any questions or to make a "reservation." Make sure that prank calls are funny. Crazy Jimmy sets the bar pretty high.

Did I hear somebody say America?
