KY TCC 07

I think what would make this competiton complete would be make the guys in the master's challenge climb in boots, hardhats, safety glasses, and bananna hammocks. Make it more interesting that way. Anyone can climb in long pants but it takes a real man to climb in a bananna hammock. I'm sure EZ would be in for it.

I would do it if I make it to the Master's.

But my third leg might give me an unfair advantage over the other climbers.

Just to be fair, I'll stick to pants.

KY 07

Yesterday we had a great time with some fellow Buzzers climbing/training in that SOUTHERN Red Oak (now I know). Only one first time climber showed up but several others just came out for the sharing of climbing knowledge. Rich schooled Alan and TJ in the wonderous worlds of the Anchor Bridge and the Floating Pulley. Rich also dislocated his shoulder twice in one Work Climb run. You've got to want it!

Louis Overstreet supplied the Cow Bells. Oh we definitely need more Cow Bell!

No cameras were allowed on site. The super secret training techniques of the School of the Limbwalker Fist are strictly guarded. Anyone attempting to steal the Soul of the Fist with a picture would have to be throw from the Second St Bridge, into the River.

Re: KY 07

Jeremy; justin, would one of you please give me a call, I just convinced (today) another first time competitor to compete on saturday.... He was hesitant because he said that he couldn't footlock well enough. I emphasized the fact that not a single competitor, judge, or volunteer was going to give him a hard time because of it. Actually, they are going to be appreciative of the fact that he showed up and he would gain respect and knowledge for participating.

Re: KY 07

RogerM & KentuckySawyer,

I am sorry for not getting back with you till now, this sometimes feels the quickest way to get a hold of someone. I have just found out that I most likley will not be able to compete at this time because my wife is haveing surgery this Thursday and recovery could take up to 3-4 days. I did not know the dates where so close together. She has asked me to be with her and I told her she didn't have to ask. Good luck and best wishes to everyone and I hope someone will record a vid' of this TCC....

Sorry Rich to make things worse, but it is plausible that the lead foot is going to be attached to me. Another that did not make the Ohio comp. I'm so lame....

My prayers go out to you and yours. I will have my camera, but just not sure if I will be able to get all the great shots. We almost need a crew of cameras..

Roger, I'm just kidding, you do not need to get a crew of photographers together--you have enough to take care of... Like the beer for all the fish we are going to consume.

Peace in every cut

Re: KY 07

I've actually received a bid from a professional videographer that I contacted ... Its in the works to get the "Board" to OK the funding. I'm keeping my fingers crossed...

Professional...we don't need no stinking professionals, but then again YOU DA MAN.

I've got bad news.....

I don't think I will be able to make it to the KY TCC.

I promised Mo-Rice that I would help him knit some warm socks for the winter, and apparently, it's an all weekend endeavor.
