I am so sad to hear about this.

Kristians is a fantastic guy and my thoughts and prayers are certainly with him now.

The first time I saw Kristian was at the Ohio TCC and he was helping run the event. His excitement and enthusiasm for both the competitors AND the audience was great. He really made that whole event a lot of fun.

I think so, too. If a bunch of us make just a little effort, it will sure affect Kirstian in a positive way and I know he can use all the positive mojo he can get right now.

Although i've never met you, my brother was just layed up with a severe injury. I know how much all the words of encouragement effected him. I send out my prayers, and best wishes. Good luck in your recovery.

for anyone who wants an update, i spoke with kristian this afternoon. he's in good spirits, all things considered and said the amount of support and love he's been on the receiving end of is amazing. they did the back surgery, fusing L1,L2, and L3 and are encouraging him to start rehab. the heel surgery i think he said will be tomorrow. i'm sure he'd want me to pass on his gratitude.

Why do you people need to go into so much detail about the guy's injuries? L1 L2 L3 and all that? There's something wrong with society when we feel we have to know every miniscule piece of information right down to the micro details of someone's hospital records!

For god's sake your talking about the poor guy as if he's some kind of experimentally injured lab rat for you lot to ponder and mull over with a fine toothed comb. Let him be to heal in private without airing the fine minutae of his personal injuries. Please!

What's wrong with discussing the nature of the injury... it's not impersonal, it's very personal. Knowing that Kristian has fused lumbar vertebrae is good news considering that he fell 25'... beats the hell out of fused thoracic vertebrae.

I'm checking back on this thread for updates on his recovery, lots of people who know him are doing that... because we care. Ease up.

Personally, I'm looking forward to seeing Kristian again in Florida this January. Get well Kristian my man, you're a GEEZER now.

I was texting with Kristain yesterday, and I can also say his spirits are good, he told me my climbing sucks and he Loves me.

Just received word from the man himself. HE IS LEAVING THE HOSPITAL RIGHT NOW. Way to go Bro.

It is Thurs. nite, the 7th. KMS is resting at home, although uncomfortable and trying to learn the whole routine of getting up and down off the bed, toilet, etc. He is getting plenty of love from Meg, and I know his phone sometimes rings off the hook, which is an excellent distraction. Couple of doc visits coming up and some work on the heel next week. His home number is 417-865-1839, just try to not call too early or too late. His cell phone is way over the minute limit, so try to use the house number when possible. Thanks again for the support.
