Kentucky - TCC

Thanks, Riggs. The date of the competition is on page 1, October 11, but show up early on Friday Oct. 10 in order to help set up.. PM me your shirt size.

And yes, the venue looks like it will change. Our insurance doesn't fit the requirements for Bernheim. I am trying to get the same site we had last year, Central Park. More info soon.

Due to a scheduling overlap (my mistake), I will not be able to attend this year's KY TCC. Even though everyone knows that "I Heart KY", I cannot pass up the opportunity to go to Ocracoke Island in NC that week.

Sadness abounds in my heart, as I am realizing the good times and many cold ones that I will not be able to throw back with the boys at the 'ol Limbwalker's shop.

With warmest regrets,

We might be able to get some bikini babes lined up for the competition. Actually its been on my list of things to do for a while now. Anyone spending much time at our shop will note that something is missing... Surely the only thing that could fill the void is a crew of buxom women who disregard the social pressure to remain fully clothed all the time. Its a problem the we recognize and are trying to rectify.

The beach will be there next weekend.

There was a test run party at the shop last night trying to simulate the post comp party. We might need to replace the basketball goal prior to the comp since it took a few hard hits last night during the first "Zip Line Slam Dunk Contest." Amazingly there were no fatalities, but Chris did report a broken toe and a wicked hangover. All in the name of research.

The normal evening events of "Midnight Log ID", drinking, and burning stuff is still on the agenda. Followed by Aggregate Jenga.

Food poisoning has been taken off the schedule for this year due to lack of interest.

Chris you can count me in for sure for the day of. I am gonna try to take some time off for the set up Friday but it looks like September is going to be a rough month with all the comps there. It'll be good times. If Jer comes back I've been working on my rock stacking skills.

Hey Chris Mike Noyes and myself want to come up and help out. We can judge or tech any event or just whatever you need. If you don't know us just ask Rich or EZ they know us pretty well we're just a couple of Georgia boys who love to climb. I am the chair for the GAA TCC this year and Mike is my head scoring judge.

Is the masters' tree gonna be the same one all the Limbwalker crew and guest rec climbed the next day? Central park is a great location.

I'm voting for the big Ailanthus by the tennis courts. I wouldn't think they'd use the same Masters tree as last year, but its certainly big enough to accommodate several years worth of challenging climbs.
