Anyone know a good place to crash??

Yes. At least two places. Read the entire thread. If you come to House of Limbwalker, call us before you come so that we can unlock the gate. My phone is 502-376-8792 -Chris

Hey Jersey,
I have a favor to ask....My brother is going and competing. My son loves to see pictures. Take a couple extra of Tyler if you can and send them to me. We won't be able to make it. :-(

I think the house of limbwalker will do quite nicely again as a place to stay. Good people, crazy times, a big fire, and a lot of well they've got a lot of something there. I'm just not sure what. Put me down for whatever you need Chris. I am there.

I'm sure Mike B will get it all spic and span in time. Hes probably not getting much sleep these days.

I feel that this thread is severly lacking in trash talk...

So what about you WoodlandTC? Are you going to bring a rope and saddle this year, or are you just coming for the beer?

I feel confident that I can say this (mainly because the guy in question has no internet access due to a power outage)....

Denbeau, your a$$ is grass. I don't care if you are going to be a NATS instructor, because I don't even know what that means. I do know that you have no chance. Heres how I know...

One. The TreeMotion won't let you win.

Two. I and only I know the secret to the Ultimate Climbing Hitch... The Petr-oacan.

Three. My Metolius gear bag holds way more handsaws than you could ever steal.

Four. I'm powered by Wood Gas beatch. So much so that I've been selling the surplus energy back to the power company and using it to buy up more Hitchclimbers than you could possibly treemagine.

LETS GET IT ON!!!

For those who don't know... This part of Kentucky was hit by a serious wind storm last weekend (82mph winds). There are lots of damaged/destroyed trees throughout Louisville.

I cruised past Central Park yesterday to check out the carnage and was pretty relieved. Lots of downed limbs all over the park. The 40+" Ailanthus uprooted (thank god). Apart from that, I saw an uprooted Osage Orange that knocked over a Hackberry (I think) and mangled another tree. The 2007 Master's tree appeared unaffected. I only drove around the park, so I didn't notice broken/hanging limbs that might still be in the trees. I looked like a few hours of chipping will make a huge difference in the look of the site.
