I am removing the SAKA from the market.

This is just messed up. I really hope my ideas spark someone else to make something better than I did, and when I see what they made, I hope I get inspired to the next level.
I'm disappointed that Weaver would insert themselves into a fist fight and bring a machine gun.

X2 to what @Fairfield said, fall forward.

If you ever try another knee ascender, turn the whole concept on it's head and move so far out of reach, they can't touch it. Then put me on the short list to buy one.

i have a very nice system that takes the bungee over the shoulder and clips to the back of my harness. A german guy made it and it tools up very compact and fits in my pocket. its faster than the SAKA or my HAAS but it kind of digs into my shoulder so I don't use it much.

This is regrettable. The SAKA struck me as the best product of its kind. We've got two SAKAs and three of the alternative products, which in our experience are far less durable. When paired with a spike ascender, some climbers shred the HAAS with their gaffs. Not so with the SAKA.

it a a little buckle. I like it but its not as easy to use as the haas bungee in a straw design.

Wow, you use it on spikes. I tried that, but nearly gaffed my opposite foot.
