My Sauce...ground chilis [could use Siracha] mixed into creamy poppyseed dressing...mix it up! Then dip!

That would be up for lawyers to decide. It is very possible that if I had enough money and it was important to me than I could have gotten something. I might just be better off quitting tree work altogether and becoming a slic pin salesman if I could get Pivot point to take me on. I think I could sell the hell out of those things.

I worked closely with a patent lawyer of 30 years, a guy named Ron Graves. He explained to me from the start that just because a patent has been granted, it's not a guarantee that it'll stand up in court if the contestant can prove that there was prior art. Often is the case that only a very small detail of the patent is novel, if at all. If the shape of an object defines it's functionality, it's often smarter to go with a registered design. We went down that road several times....way cheaper also.
