BRT I know you hate bureaucracy. You think Bernie if he won would....
...turn this country into the Soviet Union. There would be bread in the grocery store, but no one would be able to afford it.

He's a self-avowed socialist. The problem with socialism is: it never brings those on the lower rungs of the economic ladder up to the higher rungs--it only brings those higher down to the lower rungs. It is not equal prosperity--it's equal poverty and misery.

How much of the world have you seen? That is to say--not in a book, not on a TV screen, but actually seen the living conditions of those in dictatorships?

Really ..one man in these united States of America has the power to turn it into a...dictatorship.. Obama tries he fails ..yet you think little ol Bern Dog will single handedly bring us to the levels of which you speak..I don't think in 4 or even 8 years that's enough time to accomplish that scheme..I think the socialism factor is often times negativly viewed ..especially the level that a democratic republic would allow it to go with checks and balances?.. I think a socially minded individual leader is what the country needs at this point.. My opinion of course.. I agree with Bernie on some key issues ..like health benefits as a right.. Kids need better schooling (cheaper college) (how the hell it could be made free is beyond me ) Bernie seems to have it figured out.. After 30 years in politics I should hope so..Tax wallstreet? And All the bullshit trade agreements that cuased a loss of employement on our soil could be revised..rebuild infrastructure sounds good.
I have only visited one country which is USA almost.. Puerto Rico.. I feel like uncle sams the wannabe world dicktaker.. Shit..
Plenty of hardships right here in my own country .. Feed people across the world we do while kids starve here.. Tough call.. Send them to prison dont educate them . Fucks sake I'm ramblin..done

I figured. It's a sad fact that most voting Americans don't know what socialism looks like.

Some of my Russian friends can tell you about the pain and suffering--not just of the few--but of every citizen in the former Soviet Union.

I guess I didn't mean to say that Sanders could do it by himself. He would be one more nail in the coffin--possibly the last.

Here's a thought for you-->When people leave pretty much any other country in the world--where do they want to go? The USA, of course. That's not because they want to live in this country for what it can be--they come here because of what it is. Most who want to change this country aren't evil--they simply lack perspective. In the hopes of creating fairyland, we lose everything that has been fought and worked for for the last 250 years. And--I might add--by better men than we.

Sure--toss it to the wind. Vote for Bernie. But don't forget that your grandfather taught you a very solid principle--If a man doesn't work--he shouldn't eat. Ultimately, the redistribution that Obama, Clinton, Sanders, and the like practice, will stifle that entrepreneurial spirit that has made America the place the rest of the world has envied. And don't complain when they take what you have and spread it around. Just keep working harder for the commune. And, maybe, if you smoke enough weed and drink enough Evan Williams, that really won't matter either.

In an attempt to right the ship, Bernie is actually a social democrat, not a socialist. Significant difference in policies when they shake out. He's a progressive democrat and a capitalist who advocates for higher taxes on the wealthiest americans to help fund social programs, so really a democratic socialist capitalist. More along the lines of FDR or like the current government policies in place in Denmark.

Technically police departments, fire departments, libraries, and public schools are all "socialist institutions", but seems like most folks, regardless of what side of the aisle they stand on, support having those institutions in their communities .

Folks are free to feel and vote however they please, but I think it's important to know what you are actually voting for or against. . .

We're all socialists, like it or don't. The second you back your truck out of the driveway and put it on a public road, you're a dirty socialist. If your house catches fire and you call 911, that dirty socialist fire department will come and try to put out the fire. Most people send their kids to dirty socialist public schools. The fact of the matter is that there are things that all of us need and use like roads and schools, emergency services, health services etc, and it just makes sense to collectively purchase, build and staff those public works, for the betterment of society as a whole.

There is a huge difference between the locally controlled "socialism" that directs police/fire depts, libraries, & even public schools, and the federal control that Bernie and his revolutionaries wish to implement. That comparison may fit your rhetoric, but it's illogical.

I guess you don't drive on interstate highways then, or have anyone in your family collecting social security, or covered for heath-care under medicare. If you do, well then you've already slugged down a cup of that filthy federal socialistic kool-aid. Democratic Socialism simply does not equate to Communism, despite the best efforts of Fox , Breitbart, The Heritage Foundation and the rest of the conservative echo chamber to make one term synonymous with the other. FDR was no Stalin, and Sanders is no Putin or Lenin for that matter.

Okay--and topping is not removal. But it is the beginning of the end. Socialism is just Communism without the guns. Once again, we won't learn from history, so we are destined to repeat it.

The thin edge of the wedge argument. Well, entrepreneurship and economic growth is alive in well in social democratic countries. Oh and they're the happiest….http://www.commondreams.org/further/2009/05/11/worlds-happiest-countries-social-democracies
Written in 2009. Wanna guess how happy they are today; with radical Muslim extremists burning, looting, and raping in their streets? And those poor citizens in Europe have no gun rights, so they have no way to protect themselves and take back the initiative.

You posted this after Levi asked BRT a Question that he avoided cuase he doesn't know and apparently neither do you. Cuase what kind of an asshole response is that .. You kn ow what I think about that statement :fuckyou:
I asked him for clarification, because his question was so open ended--Solution to what?

Your solution to everything you nay say against.

Facist Ted Cruz?
That would be a pretty long post.:sorprendido3:

But men like Ted would be a good start. From the first day he would rescind every unconstitutional executive action Barack Hussein Obama has implemented. Oh, that's right, Levi--you think the Constitution "isn't worth the paper it's written on." Hey--at least you're honest. I bet a lot of these other Bernie supporters would claim that they love his policies and the Constitution.

So why do you call Cruz a Facist?

Didn't mean to be an asshole. I just think we are heading for a major war in an attempt to save the US economy and preserve US hegemony.
I beleive that is one of the "solutions" that is being attempted.

If that answer fails to satisfy you, by all means, continue calling me names.

I must've missed the whole muslims raping in the streets of Denmark thing on CNN. "Unconstitutional" is the battle cry of the butt hurt neocons because they've marginalized themselves into an ever diminishing minority and don't like that an elected leader voted in twice by a clear majority is making good things happen for that majority. If he's so freakin' unconstitutional, then why haven't the republicans initiated impeachment proceedings? Because they've got nothing.. that's why.
