Please List your reasons for a cab mount grapple truck, I can not think of any benefits other than dumping which I don't see as being a benefit really, being I have a rear mount id like to hear your reason for cab mount, thanks!

Jason, can't you reach further into your work with a rear mount?
Edit: ...also wouldn't you have a greater capacity on lifting loads when reaching off the back?

Yes thoes are all benefits to rear mount trying to see what benefits treevet sees with cab mount loaders as I don't have any that come to mind with a cab mount

Ohhh, yes I see. Well Axe, offloading would be nice without the crane in the way. Pulling a lever to dump does half the work in the long run.

Axe, also in your area you can offload brush and wood all mixed together, you don't chip much.

If your using a large capacity chipper to process trees onsite, you might sway towards a cab mount.

We can off load how ever I sort big wood out at my lot, if dumping there, as we sell logs for lumber and fire wood.
With a cab mount you still have to get up on loader set Down out riggers swing loader over cab, lift out riggers open back door dump lower bed close door get up on loader stow boom, and then your left with debris piles 2-3 times the foot print of the bed the pile came out of so if dumping at your own lot you the need a loader to push into a pile. Once all that is done did you save time?
Rear mount get on loader drop out riggers, if brush can often empty 60
Yard box in 3-5 minutes is wood will take longer prob 10 minutes. one time on the loader one time off and all your debris is set in piles not all over the place.
Rear mount pros

Have around 300 degrees of room work with loader

Can load trailer or feed chipper much easier

Much harder to damage cab while moving debris on ground

Trucks weight is better distributed
Can back in alleys and drive ways and work over either side and the back
Loader is more stable while lifting stright over back of truck

Loader a frame can be used to store gas oil out rigger pads leaf blowers rakes
And what ever else you Desire

Rear mount allows you to have a cab protector

Can move debris out of the way as you back up when nessicary

Guys chime in and add pros and cons for behind cab and rear mount
( sorry for grammatical errors phone screen is broken)

I was thinking some kind of etching primer but I'm no painter. So I could definitely use some help in the paint Department
