While I don’t doubt this as a possibility (not saying I’m buying into it). My sister-in-law is Russian and from what I gather, the vast majority of Russians are not vaxxed and don’t mask. Not as a super political stance but more along the lines of meh…

He referenced a government structure where the people can voice their opinions and thoughts to their elected leaders for consideration. Then he described how the truckers are too inarticulate and primarily not intellectuals, so rather than pressing their elected officials to address their issues, they acted out. He says that the truckers acting out doesn't mean that their "moral presuppositions" is wrong. Which is I agree with. The blockade, however, is the wrong way to voice their opinion. He essentially called the truckers idiots who don't know how to use words to communicate their thoughts so a temper tantrum was the best they could do.

Another thing I learned from this video clip is comedians don't need to be funny.

Not only is what you say an opinion, and biased at that, but your inability to express it without also using profanities and name calling, does expose your mental state.

I know about everything you said, in its entirety, and have come to my own conclusions.
 
My impression is that regarding this issue, more people are choosing a camp based on the personalities or professional status of their sources, and have a hard time reviewing information and making their own assessments.
