Trump came to Asheville today to announce he is going to reform or probably dismantle FEMA altogether. What the f is that shit. It felt like we were all on our own but damn it feels a little rough when you hear it direct. So everyone’s next disaster, don’t expect the feds to lift a finger for ya.
He's anticipated to ask for NATO countries to up defense spending to 5% of GDP. A target NO country currently achieves. The US is at 3.4%, so DJ needs the FEMA money for more planes and boats and pew-pews.

What I really don’t get is all the hype about Bidens age at the previous election. Trump this go around makes him now the oldest person to become elected. He will be fucken 82 at the end of this term.
If the third term thing happens would he actually make it to 86 to see that term out? Would he even want a third term?
What’s the end goal here, and when does it cease to be about him? What’s comin around the bend.
Putin is 72 and has been “elected president” since 2012 and prime minister previously giving him 25 years at the helm.

I have wondered that since before he got elected, and have never come up with any ideas that make any sense.
Last night djt apoarently fired a dozen Inspectors General. Also, apparently in violation of Federal Law. Thanks to the Supreme Court we know there won’t be any criminal accountability. Thank god the Rebublicans will have the balls to impeach him. Oh, wait…..

when comparing ‘taxes’ between MN and TX one could claim that TX has low and MN high. But…what is covered by a tax in MN is taken by a’service fee’ in TX.

I usually point this out to trumpets here in CA, but they will often say that they don't need or want those benefits, without any consideration for what that would actually mean. Again, be careful when you start qualifying benefits to society at large as a benefit to any one individual, regardless of objective realities.
And just to be crystal clear, the needs of the many outweigh the needs of they few, and what is good for society at large is definitionally good for any individual within that group, on the whole and over the long term, regardless of what they believe on a given day.

Why wouldn't musk deny the gesture was a nazi salute? Even self described anti semites have cheered about it, so why wouldn't he seek to distance himself from that?
That is not evidence of a nazi ideology. I have used the same arm gesture many times during moments of excitement. It being similar to a nazi salute had nothing to do with it.
