According to frump himself, it was DEI that caused the crash. Plenty of logic in that statement.

And I'm sure that's just what the grieving friends and parents (should we assume that some are minorities and/or people of color) need to hear at this moment, that the accident was caused because white men weren't in charge.

Im going to keep this side thread going because its interesting like trump. Wilber, the Katanga side won the war, with the aid of the Nazis from Germany ,Belgium, Apartheid SA and the USA, the president of Katanga became President of the Congo. Muller and folks were his security forces. So the Katanga side won but it was with the help of Mobutu who was a very Trump like guy, transactional, played both sides and came out on top and stayed there till he died. Different versions of that story have played out all over the world.

I was trying to figure out how to add that last part. The CIA has been destabilizing any country that had stuff their corporate overlords wanted since their inception, all in the name of capitalism. The bankers and globally powerful have used any means available to aquire more money and the power that goes with it. Capitalism didn't "win" because it's the better system, it won because of ruthless greed, and a lack of concern for human rights. Many Americans were pro nazi up to a certain point when it became clear that they were overstepping the limits of the ugly shit they were in favor of.

The US has done this shit all over Asia, Africa and Central/South America. It wasn't just a nazi thing, it's a capitalist thing.

I read that and am to understand that you are in favor of fewer aviation safety committees . They are a waste of money and have absolutely nothing to do with the ATC and pilots? W should probably get rid of ANZI committee meetings too right? there might be a DEI on the ANZI committee.

What the hell kind of rant was that? I never said or implied any of those things. I just stated what should be obvious, that a branch of DHS had nothing to do with a mid air collision. They have totally different tasks.

I'm sorry for the rant. I didn't mean to make assumptions. But I am curious as to your opinion. You appeared to me to be defending Trumps action. Let me rephrase it as a yes or no question. In light of a horrific air accident, are you in favour of the king eliminating a government committee dedicated to air safety?

I am absolutely in favor of eliminating totaly redundant branches, individuals
or components of government. The actions taken in this instance, in no way had anything to do with a midair collision and for a news agency to imply so is ludicrous.

Usually the reaction to accidents is to create more redundancies rather then fewer. But you believe there are too many. I dont get that but okay.

Ok in hopes of coming to a common ground I’m going to throw in on the topic. I might be a broken record on this but it’s the same take I have to most conspiracy. The easiest recipe to make a lie believable is to sprinkle in some hard truth/facts then dish the bullshit.

most if not all groups in charge tend to develop the same patterns of behavior. Simply being wasteful self centered justification. Good intentions or not this is a trend that leads to needless over spending and the like.
I think of it as a prevailing wage contract. Sure there is the opportunity for the employees to make bank, yet the volumes of hoops, paperwork, audits and all the rest take any joy out of it. Same with insurance work. Do the job cover the overhead, get swamped with paperwork and get paid months later after covering the inflated costs.

Do I think having a safety regulator is important? Fuck yea I do. Can we find a more accurate effective method? Maybe and maybe not.

Blaming it on neurodivergence is absolute bullshit. Musk has a developmental intellectual disability which use to be called Asperger’s, even though that has been included into ASD. Partly because the severity index theory was thrown out the window.

So loud and clear Musk IS A DEI hire for the federal government.
