Trump refers to CNN's Anderson Cooper by a woman's first name

Former President Donald Trump is referring to CNN anchor Anderson Cooper by a woman's first name. Since Cooper hosted a town hall with Vice President Kamala Harris on Wednesday, Trump has referred to Cooper as “Allison” three times, including in a Friday post on his social media network.

Honest answer… I know very little about its details. It’s a 922 page fever dream/wishlist of the Heritage Foundation. Trump has disavowed it. But I’d also bet that I would not be opposed to as much of it as Kamala would like me to be. Probably some crazy stuff mixed with some common sense stuff.

you're memory is selective too. I didn't propose that we give communism another whirl, but that we should use it as a guiding principle as well as using history to inform our choices moving forward. I would never suggest that it was executed flawlessly by people with societies interests at heart. did you actually participate in that conversation? we so rarely see you outside of this one.
 

this is believed to be part of a large scale canvassing operations by paid employees... 60% of those registrations that were studied so far were found to be fraudulent. Total registrations being questioned are 2500. There may be two other counties with similar voter registration fraud.

It doesn't say if the fraud was perpetrated by democrats or republicans. I'll put $100 bet up that it was the democrats that committed fraud. ANy takers. If you think it was the republicans... put up you $

I just got back from ten days visiting a friend in Stockholm, Sweden. I have never felt so embarrassed to be an American in my life. Like the rest of the World, they are watching this election happening in one of the two most powerful countries on Earth right now, and I constantly faced questions and scrutiny from everyone I met, to see if I was a Trump supporter. I met absolutely no one the entire time who wasn't worried that the US has gone completely nuts with the worship of this egotistical, vindictive, self-centered, lying, morally disgusting, uneducated, and shallow arsehole.

 
How do parents answer questions about these stunts from children?

In august 1974 Nixon resigned. I was so happy and was talking w my Dad. His prescient comment has stuck with until rump came along:

“Nixon is a bad one but during your life there will be worse”

I would have had to ask him what rump was doing wile the mic. Dads reply would have given him pause and been awkward I know

Far, far worse, for sure. Nixon at least was an effective president in many ways and well respected World wide for most of his presidency, while our allies and the rest of the World consider Trump to be an unstable, uneducated oaf and a buffoon, as well as a serious danger to global security with his admiration of several of the worst and most aggressive dictators. I don't feel, given how it takes a significant degree of ruthlessness and cunning, as well as incredible amounts of money and funding, to get ahead in American politics, that a totally honest person could ever make a good president. But Trump tips the scales way over what is workable in our democracy. He literally has no redeeming qualities at all and represents the biggest threat our country has faced since the Civil War with his divisive, racist rhetoric and habitual lying. He is bringing out the very worst undercurrents in our national character, even encouraging them and making them acceptable.
 
My step grandmother was Austrian, I still have her menorah. My step mom had a postcard with a photo of their family house in a beautiful feild and mountains in the background.
She was 14 when the house was taken and forced to become a nurse for the Germans. She escaped from behind the iron curtain and I never got those details.
Anyway when I was about 14-15 she pulled me aside and looked me stone cold in the eyes. ‘What is your plan? You must always have a plan to escape.’
The weight of her words and blunt frankness with her thick accent has never left me.

Well, if you ask his supporters, they will tell you that he has lots of redeeming qualities. They love the shit that comes out of his mouth, and the way he speaks. That is the scarier reality to me. He is just one man, and could do no harm without the ardent support of his legion. The real problem that we face is that regardless of what happens on Tuesday, we still have to live with the unabashed racism and bigotry that is the root of this. This is so much deeper than this one election and we need to reckon with that.
