Fu*%face Von Clownstick

Change comes from the top, every society is shaped by its leaders good and bad.
Its all very well saying that it starts at the level of the family, but you can raise any number of good kids, but if all they have to vote for every 4 years is what you guys get on the ballot paper what will change?

Exactly. So why do we go around acting like the person in charge is the problem

Hitler. Stalin. Pol Pot. Assad. Kim Il Sung. Hideki Tojo. And on and on and on.

Im not sure if you are aware, but down here in Merica we have recently been having our own problem with a budding wannabe dictator who has been doing everything in his power to destroy our constitution, and rule of law. So yea, leaders can be a very big problem, and have a massive impact.

And yet, within the same country existed at the same time, people who felt very differently about the world. There were people who left, and people who resisted from within.

Last post as I’m drinking.

And yet, within the same country existed at the same time, people who felt very differently about the world. There were people who left, and people who resisted from within.
Of little consequence in reality.
I am not knocking the Germans, it could have happened in the UK or anywhere.
Leaders shape the society they lead, it’s one of the reasons people want to become leaders, it’s more alluring than all the money in the world which is easier to get with less hassle.

Politicians and judges need to have their sole income being the salary the office dictates and not be allowed any other income while in that office. No money, favors or gifts from interest groups, no book deals, no stock market earnings, no speech payments. Strictly their salary. They then would work for the people who elected them and not for other factions.
That would be a big step in making things right.

A very honest and accurate description of Trump actions and words. Trump has been crystal clear on his game plan should he be reelected. Hello Dictatorship and carnage, goodbye rule of law and our constitution.

The MAGA people will tell you, "That is beside the point." Then they will point you in some other direction. They lack the ability to think for themselves.

Think: Grandmother who lives in Florida, wearing a white cowboy hat with feathers (who has probably never seen a horse in person) and a red, white and blue leather jacket with fringes, carrying a sign that says, "Trump Was Sent By God."

Now picture that brain in every other MAGA person, no matter how old, gender, what they wear or where they live.

I had to find out about this.

Being from there I can fill you in a tad. The pledge is left over from the McCarthy era to fight his suspected communistic conspiracy theories. It is way of date and should have been gone a long time ago. And actually, only about half of the Illinois politicians sign the damn thing. It is optional.
As much as I hate Trump and the other Republicans, I would not put too much emphasis on this not signing issue. It was just something for the media to grab onto. They wouldn't have mentioned it had it been someone else.
