When the fog rolled in the vision was limited. A group of hikers walked under the tree when we were up in it. We keep quiet so as not to startle them. Imagine hearing voices from inside the tree?

Its a long way to the top. Body thrusting two hundred feet is not for the weak of heart.

Once you get to the top the view is grand. The tops of the trees is awesome to see from the top of another tree 250 feet up.

The look of a person who just climbed into a crotch 199 feet and six inches. The idea that the Washington tree was hollow never occurred to me untill I got to 47 feet from the top.

Act natural and move carefully so as not disturb anything...

The climb up is as much of a mystery as the climb down. The lines are ready. We can cut them down but we are not suppose to climb up ? Go figure?

We missed you yesterday at the AGM, Morice!

We are having a big TCC practice day here today. Paul Michaels (that's right), Chuck Holtzclaw and his son, Simon, Jeff, Todd, maybe more.

Got the aerial rescue dummy to set up. I'll snap a couple of photos probably.

JerzyGirl that oak looks a lot like a tulip poplar. If it is poplar watch out for the lot weaker than oak limbs.

yes - i will be there - in the area - IF we climb the BOMBEX is my choice - it would be early sunday morning - the local crew know the tree.
