Compact Bulldog Bone

So is it smaller rope smaller bushing or larger bushing? Or is it really not that simple. Gordon is sending my set with 2 different setups so I can try them and then just change one to match that I like better. He is also sending them with the tending pin and holes that you guys have decided works best at the moment.

What TL said. Just picture it like the less space the volume of the rope fills, the more you have to make it back up with a larger bollard and vice versa. You'll most likely run with no bollard at all.

I can't see a need at all to further alter that tending point. It's the bomb-diggity.

I bought by colour-Safari-too skinny for the hands and is prone to slipping with the bone because of flattening. :-(

Then I bought the cougar blue because the colour is nicer and it turns out the puke is better.

A few people have said the Cougar puke is better in the BDB than the Blue.
Why is that?

I have heard it explained the the different color dyes absorb more or less on the fibers, thus making one color slightly fatter than another. The tachyon orange does seem noticeably fatter than the green to me and that is the rope I would recommend, although several say tachyon is too bouncy. Personally I think one run of rope may vary just a bit from the next. Hope this helps : )
