Compact Bulldog Bone

I started splicing on 16 Mike, all the same moves without having to deal wth burying the core. Then I move to 24 strand and only had to worry about dealing with the core, if that makes any sense.

I'm using a variation of this retrievable redirect with the Bone. It requires you to remove the whole system to retrieve. The Bone can gladly accepts this challenge with its easy on/off attributes

I remember that one...that's a good one.

I've asked this before a while ago but just wondered if there is a favourite rope yet for the BDB?
I want to order a new one tomorrow but not sure wether to get Cougar Blue or Tachyon and I've read that Escalator is liked by someone.
Confused!!

For running the Bone in stock form with the 5/8" bollard, Tachyon is the agreed choice. Some have found that the Yale 11.7s ran nice until some semi permanent distortion was occuring, flattening. I enjoy running the Bone on Cougar because it's firm and seems resistant to the flattening of the 11.7s and less bouncy than Tachyon. With some practice it can be nice and smooth on Cougar. Some folks have made alterations on their Bones in order to perform well on their preferred ropes or what they already have such as Vortex or Escalator. I, fortunately, own a piece of all of the above ropes plus Kernmaster so I can try them all out. The simple answer is Tachyon though. Good luck!

X2 with what Worthaug said. Tachyon.
If you do go Cougar I'd go with the regular. Never tried Cougar Blue but I've read a few things that lead me to believe the regular is the best choice.
