Compact Bulldog Bone

I have been using Orange and blue today with the bone. Didn't stop raining till I had finished climbing. I usually climb SRT with CBlue. The tachyon feels like a bungee cord in comparison.

You may find that the longer pivot hole spacing will work with Vortex with no bollard at all, or perhaps the 1/2" bollard.

Thanks!

Got to use mike powers snub nose bone with the new tending point the last couple of days. And man is it nice. I didn't think I would care about the shortened arms, but they make the bone even more comfortable to release for descent. And that tending point is phenomenal. Definitely going to be adding that to mine. And considering shortening arms too

Steve, yes the D-ring at the "Sweet Spot" is intended for tending the Bone during ascent, do not transfer weight there when sitting back. My thought is a longish tether or bungee for tending.

It is easy to add a 7/8" D-ring just beside the top joint link as pictured.

Here's it is.
Welcome to the club Steve!

The bollard sheave isn't visible in your pic, but I'm quite sure Gordon sends them out with the 5/8" installed, which will match your 11.7mm line.

Just look at the upper link (where the rope installs on the top arms). The pivot pin of the link will have a sheave installed between the two upper arms. Yours is most likely already the 5/8". You can change the bollard out by pulling the cotter pin and sliding the link out.

Hope that makes sense.
