Compact Bulldog Bone

Is this going to be the last batch of Cougar ropes that TreeStuff ever obtains, or have you folks changed your minds about dropping it from your lineup?

If it is going to be the last batch you ever obtain for sale to customers, can you give us some sense of how much of it will be coming in, and when?

Also, if the supply is severly limited, is it possible for a potential customer to put in a pre-order in order to allow that customer to "lock in" access to this rope?

Thanks in advance, Nick, for any answers you choose to provide, and for updating the web site listing.

Oh Sure, so you can buy all of it and leave everyone else in a lurch! No fair, do over! Don't tell him Nick, then Steve won't get to order any of it! Just don't be greedy Tim!

I was distraught when I saw it too Steve, but realized I primarily SRT, and as much as I love Cougar, KMIII Max is now my favorite, and is available at all kinds of retailers. If I need a non KM/Semistatic rope, I'll likely go to a 50-60ft piece of Vortex for something easy on the hands. I dont do much DBrT anymore, so rope choice isn't that important for me out of the KM lines now.

And there's always Sumac, Calamine, and Prism....

Never posted here before but I've been following about a year... Anyway I finally pulled the trigger after a year of contemplating n received my bone today... All I can say is bone is BOSS! This things absolutely incredible I love it one day of flying it it's smooth on release grabs reliably and eats slack like its hungry! Amazing job @surveyor i have nothing but good things to say about it and today was the first day! KMIII btw about 195lbs with gear

@Treetopflyer hows that new samson line homie, don't keep secrets! tell us!!!
It's not as smooth on release with stock bollard that came originally before Gordon masterminded the adjustable. I'm sure if I had that I could dial it in better. Over all the voyager line has many great characteristics we've come accustomed to with these newer 24 strand double braids. I've only a few climbs with it under my belt and always in conjunction with the yale 11.7 pictured so it doesn't give the purest feel of the line. Slack tending is effortless. It does amaze me that two bones work so well, feels as one that can be split on demand. Such a game changing work positioner system and especially the devices that make it so... Bull Dog Bones! Sorry I didn't give much of an answer about the Samson will give more intel as I gain experience with it. Generically I'll say great hand and knot abilities for sure. Flattens up in the bone momentarily. Hmm what else.. felt comparative in static nature to yale probably due to its higher break strength, transferring to less elongation at a lower mass. Guess that's all I got for now. TBC
