Compact Bulldog Bone

So can anyone spare me 178 pages of reading and give me the skinny on this thing?
Acceptable rope diameters?
What ropes work best?
price?
Also can the end on a ddrt be clipped in to the other hole?

No, that hole was originally meant for a tending option SRT.

So Ive been tinkering with the bdb again and have added a slack tending roller to the bottom and made some other changes that needed to be incorporated to accomodate the addition.

Ive tested it on tachyon, cougar, kmIII, and safari and it holds on all of them.

Here it is.

Thanks!

It has the disadvantage of having dropable parts and in its current configuration requires greater pressure to release.

That's where I was headed as with having too many loose pieces. If a chain/plate system could attach all of the parts to keep things from dropping to the ground or onto a tarp? Very slick concept, otherwise.

Ok - So now I'm asking what are some of the smallest diameter ropes the Bone has been known to work on?

With the Dmm Throwing Hook coming out - I'm looking to possibly use the bone on a secondary tie in with options on lighter, smaller rope to aid in the throwing.

I'm still making my way through the entirety of this thread.

Hey everybody, quick question I really like the idea of the CBDB better than the RR and I just wanted to know from people who climb on one if I can totally bomb out from height with this thing, I am super interested if it performs like some rope runner bombs I've seen (johnny pro style). Any feed back would help and is much appreciated, thanks again.

Yes for both devices in the case of an emergency, if your going to bomb down as the normal descent mode on a daily basis than I would probably go with the runner only because I found it a little easier to setup how much "slide before stop" I wanted.
