Just curious, what sort of damage on what type of trees?

I had issue with linden , locust during spring and celtis occidentalis in the 3-5 inch diameter stuff...But I'm 220 without gear.

I know old thread, but has anyone tried using a petzl rollclip opposed to a pinto in their Texas tug? It would be used in a secondary AB or slip knot after the primary AB with delta, or quickie.

Should work fine. Might lose some fights due to orientation. The beauty of the pinto is that it cannot get misaligned while you’re working
