Was checking to see if still available, swear it said posted July 20 until after it got me to log in, now it's clearly February. Been looking to find one of these if it's the newer aluminum version.

This is the newer version with the butterfly valve, new for $199.00, but currently out of stock. It will be interesting to me to see how long TreeStuff permits this out of stock situation with the APTA to persist, since it is to me a really important product for a climber to be able to buy. It just makes life so much easier. I've never owned a Big Shot. I don't think I'd like it as much as the APTA, but I might buy one if I had no other option. I have the older ball valve version of the APTA, and I have no problems being accurate with it.

Edit: Maybe if you nag Nick Bonner at TreeStuff, he'll have one made to order for you. Just a thought. @bonner1040?

Wow, this is a nice forum, thank you, the APTA and the PMI chest roller boxes go in the same often searched for, only available 6 months ago.... Now im glad I logged in, this might be the first I've posted in a forum without someone saying
"your question or thought was covered in an unrelated thread back in 1962 in the Swahili version of the site so do more research before asking questions."
Seems like this board is active and live, I'll have to dig in, pleased to meet you.

Welcome to the Buzz, @AJNpa80 . @TimBr thinks you'll like it here. I concur.

It's searcheable back to 1962... or whenever @Tom Dunlap was weaned off his sippy cup.
Other than that, watch out for @JD3000 and @JeffGu - absolute miscreants who type about beer when they should be working, or improving their coffee brewing skills.

You can also try to turf up sleeping giants from the past. @mrtree Ordinarily, though, TreeBuzz seances are on Friday nights, BYOBC.

Again, welcome.

Since your newer to the forum than I, welcome.
I find using the search "feature" on most forums a waste of time as they rarely work well.
Most times if I'm looking for something I use google or any other search engine to find it.
So I would search something like "APTA what's the hold up treebuzz forum", then make it more or less specific based on the hits you get.
Folks can say it's been talked about all they want, but most times they can't find those threads even if they wanted lol.
