Grapple truck

Ok guys. Know there's a ton of threads on grapple trucks. Currently have a rear mount. Currently looking for a tandem axle dump, mid mount. Obviously the rear mount has better reach, but cant dump. I haul tree debris, 17 foot logs 2-4 foot diameter, and looking to also haul C&D, and concrete, hence the dump. Realistically how long does it take to set up a truck to dump that has a Prentice, serco etc? Im entertaining a tandem axle Lightning loader or Pacmac because it looks like its quick to dump. Oh yeah and must be able to tow....thanks ya'll.

IMG_1191.webp About 10 minutes without rushing from getting out of the truck to getting back in and driving off… open dump body doors, climb up top to lift loader out of the way, climb down lift dump body, climb in cab pull truck forward. Get out, lower dump body, climb up top stow grapple loader, climb down, close back dump doors, get in truck..make sure PTO is on before climbing up the ladder or that’ll cost you a minute or two and another trip up and down the ladder.

Hey this is the perfect info I was looking for. Thanks. Is there ANY advantages to a lightning loader/pacmac?

Also is maintenance/hoses really tough on a midmount loader?

Get a JMAC Truck. Rotobec or serco. Rear mount and dumps. You don’t even have to get out of truck to dump debris. Has an air gate. Whatever you put in with grapple you take out with grapple
