Anyone conceal carry while working?

If they come in my house, they are dead if I am able. Shooting someone outside the home is illegal here. It shouldn't be though. I keep this by the bed.

That ought to do it alright.

One of the most bizarre things I've ever read was an article in a gun publication offering advice on guns and ammo that would do the least amount of damage to your house in the case you had to fire on an intruder.

You're going to fuck your place up real bad with that machine gun dude.

With your head in the sand you should fear a go stick.
Nope, the NRA and Fox News own the sand box. That's where you stick your head to ignore the facts about gun risks in the good old USA. What I worry about is guys who fear everything and everyone who's not exactly like themselves, and feel like a major solution to their problem is spending all their time with a loaded gun. I own em', love shooting them, and keep them secured under lock and key unless I'm on my way to the range.

Just to get back to the gist of this thread, anybody who shows up on one of my job-sites packing, will be sent packing. I can't imagine that a lot of lawn maintenance clients would want their yard-man armed on their property either.

This is a pretty good debate though. I am all for your right to arm yourself. The problem arises when certain people don't know when that time to arm yourself is. If someone is coming into your house to KILL you and your family. Yes, you should be able to protect yourself and if that means killing the intruder, then so be it. However I find it concerning when our nation wants to arm themselves over petty issues. Like trying to protect your lawn equipment.

My house is unlocked, my car is unlocked, my shed is locked, but the key is just inside the back door. My dog and I may have a few questions for you if you're seen walking away with my chainsaw, but you're certainly not going to be shot at. I was raised to believe shooting/killing people over material things is stupid.

To those of you that are so willing I just walk and give somebody your stuff without a fight.... Would you mind posting an address?

Interesting. So you teach those two kids of yours that it's okay to steal if the person there stealing from won't cause them any physical harm. I would teach them to take the higher ground and maybe work for a living. I am not saying I am going to allow someone to walk up to me and take my stuff. I am just not going to KILL them over it. I would rather buy something twice than kill someone once for it. Teach your kids that!!!
