    Yo-Yo (RADS) for working?

Re: RADS with self-tending tether OOPS, If you release the harness attachment be sure to have a fairlead for the tail of your rope! Don't want to lose that.

    Yo-Yo (RADS) for working?

Re: RADS with self-tending tether Just to note, if you are doing a limb walk or something that requires you to return to your previous position, you can remove the teather at your harness attachment. Leaving the shunt/pulley provides a longer mechanical advantage "take up".

Definately the best workshop I have been involved with. It was the kind of AR training you always wanted to do. Thanks everyone!

I think so. Just need to get my gear together and show up. I am curious how many competitors there will be this year. Hopefully as many as last year, it is always nice to meet some new people. Although the usual suspects are always nice to catch up with too. See you tomorrow.

Ran gear bag over today...what to do???

Intersting, I had my gear bag run through the chipper last fall. The only thing that came out of that alive was the small carabiner that I use to attach my prussic cord to my shirt. Not a scratch on the thing. Every thing else was murdered. There are pictures of my gear on flickr but I am not...

Only 15 days! Better start doing some more pull ups and crunches. I may be interested in a rusty snap. I'm not sure about holding hands though, I prefer arm in arm. I mean it is the tcc.

I could see a Rainbow guy winning. I hear that Jeff Hafner is pretty good. Not to mention all the other guys they have over there. Whataview, how is So Cal treating you? We went to Orange Co. for a wedding not to long ago (feb 20). Nice weather, not a lot of trees though. And just a little...

    EAB (emerald ash borer)

I just attended a seminar in which the instructor said that EAB does not really show signs of die back. The trees that he has seen and dealt with are general thinning of the crown and stem sprouts. He did not mention woodpecker damage... but that would make sense. pierce

Im in. sounds like it is going to be a good event this year(as usual). I beleive they are trying to set up a a picnic at the park directly after the Saturday events. Good question, I wonder if Lynn and George are aware of the international speed climb format. They did not make it to St. Louis...
