Is that Missouri? Because I thought the largest Bur Oak was at Big Oak State Park. I went there to check it out, and the tree that you have pics of is not the one.

How long ago did you go to see the Oak in Big Oak State Park? I think the Bur Oak in the park is just a stump now.

I may be wrong about that, there may be a very large Bur Oak in that park , but It is not the largest according to the points scale.

It had a sign saying that it was the state champ. For shame for them LYING! lol. I was there in December, just after Christmas when we were having a heat wave. Really tried to consider how to climb the tree.
