MN TCC Saturday/Sunday, May 16 /17th 2009

I think so. Just need to get my gear together and show up. I am curious how many competitors there will be this year. Hopefully as many as last year, it is always nice to meet some new people. Although the usual suspects are always nice to catch up with too. See you tomorrow.

I spoke to a buddy of mine in minnesota so I think the four to make the masters is Raven,Pierce,Tl Hamel and Nathan Gruber.Good luck in that big bur oak.

I was told-

Eric Raven, Rob Juetten, Taylor Hamel, and Nathan Gruber.

Good luck to all. The prelims were tough this year, there were alot of heavy hitters. These 4 guys really had to earn their spot in the masters today, with temps in the upper 30's and wind gusts to 25mph+ it was no easy task. The weather today should be alot more pleasant.

Yes actually a dead heat for third. Scoring error at first, but we fixed it. I am so inspired to (fill in the blank). GREAT climbers all. Great attitudes. 40 participants a butt load of judges and techs and timers and volunteers. Must be some sort of world record. Shooting for 47 next year. Thank you and good nite.

Thanks for a wonderful event everyone who volunteered! Eric, you deserve this win hands down. First in the prelims, first in the Master's, and a personal footlock record (first as well)! Everyone said your Master's climb was ultra smooth and calculated. Rob was awesome in the prelims as usual and totally destroyed the work climb finishing first; also placed first in throwline and AR. I guess he had a nasty tangle while retrieving gear out of the Master's. Nathan took first in speed climb. Had a bit of trouble with throwline in the Master's but stuck it out and finished with time left on the clock.

Its my understanding if there is a tie in points then the time of event is factored in. If thats the case that would put Nathan in 3rd and Rob in 4th as he timed out. Correct?

Gotta chime in here and just say WOW! Never expected to do so well with such an awesome field of climbers. Lotta great competition, very tough win. All the masters climbs were great, even Rob's with his Indiana Jones whip trick. Thanks to all MSA climbers for a great weekend, I'll do my best to represent in RI.

thanks for the compliment about indiana jones. Ive tried that five times this week and it worked every time. this year you are the champ, you deserve it. congrads

Congrats to you Eric, Taylor, Nathan and Rob wish I would have seen it.
Thanks to the Welle's for all there work pulling off another excellant MN TCC
