Bucket truck next to home foundation

One of my buckets weighs 33k. I've never had any problems. It's a tandem axle. If you're concerned use bigger outrigger pads. Or lay down a sheet of 3/4 plywood first. That's pretty light for a truck so I dont forsee any problems. If I have to set outriggers on a sidewalk I will sometimes...

    New climber. Climbing leaning oak?

That's the brightest rope I've ever seen.

    Double-headed X-Ring splice

Not that I know of. I'm no expert at splicing by any means. Just trying to learn. I'd be happy to know if I'm doing something backwards. Wouldn't be the first time.

    Double-headed X-Ring splice

If I'm doing something wrong then everyone else is too.

    Double-headed X-Ring splice

They're not stiff. They'll turn easily. And stay where you put them.

    Just turn them.

DMM Rig V-rig idea. Thoughts and feedback please

Looks like a good setup. Is that a DMM Revolver? Mine is only double action. I've not owned any others but that particular one only takes two moves to open it. I don't see any way the rope could come out but another line could very easily become trapped in it if it got just right.

    Double-headed X-Ring splice

It's 3/4 Tenex Tec. Intended to use 2 XLarge Rings and one Beast ring on the other end. I have plenty of long slings with rings and blocks too. I wanted a few shorter slings. A few mainly for remotely setting and retrieving. That's what this one is for which is why I only want it 5 to 6 ft. I...

    Double-headed X-Ring splice

Mine are not X Large? They're 28mm x 38mm. That shows to be X Large. They're the same size as an X Rigging Ring X Large. However they might be a few thousandths narrower on the outside.

Rope Wrench / Hitch Climber Question

I've been using that method for several years with no mishaps. I do see that it could happen though. I lean back regularly with no problems though.

Rope Wrench / Hitch Climber Question

Pretend the wrench isn't there. Use the hitch. Once I get to the top I like to pull on the hitch and descend about 3 or 4 inches to let the Wrench engage. Helps keep the hitch from binding up.

I use 1/2 Bluestreak with it.

    New solid Notch Wrench Tether

I noticed that too. I guess since it's attached to the pulley and the pulley is attached to the hitch cord?

    ISC Rig N Wrench

I have the same issue. It seems to much friction for anything less than about 150 lbs to me.

    Kickin' it Old School

Easier way to get the stump out. Dig around it and pull the tree over. Made it easier for the mules to roll the stump out.

    Three different double-whip rigging configurations.

I got to try it out a few weeks ago.

    Strength of multisling

Should be almost double. You'll have a double line but the distortion of the brummels will weaken it just a little. Probably not enough difference to notice though. I consider them double.

    Double-headed X-Ring splice

I mainly use Safeblocs for the majority of my rigging. I need a short ring to ring for remotely setting and retrieving. I've already made one but wanted to make one with 2 XL rings and a beast ring on the other end. I have plenty of slings, blocks and rings so this will be an xtra for use when...
