Sure feel bad for that 4 yr old girl in critical. As the dad of 3 girls in that age range, I think I'd go out of my mind.
Eucalyptus tree. I think they're getting some much needed rain now. Brother-in-law is in SD--says the roads are a mess.
My work's not that exciting--just paying the bills, making the customers happy, and going home to my family at the end of the day with all my fingers and toes.
No big cranes, no inventions, and no fleet of expensive toys. That said, I do enjoy the pictures that are shared on this forum as much...
WOW! Didn't know I had that much impact on you. Sounds like I've been living rent free in your mind for some time. :D
Honestly, don't you get a little bored with all the tree talk? It consumes my life day in, and day out. Most of these threads are BORING--"What boots are you wearing", "How do...
Maybe you're a racist--I don't know. But, where I come from, illegal immigrant means illegal immigrant. Red, yellow, black, or white--if they don't obtain LEGAL citizenship--they are illegal immigrants. They are a drain on the resources of our schools, public transportation, our corrections...
Levi,
Why don't you hold Evo to the same grammar and spelling standard?
You'd lose your count with that last post. But, of course, he happens to agree with you. Are you discounting his opinion because he didn't "take what his teacher doled out"?
Or, could it be that you are bullying Jem...
Certainly not the "tallest stack".
Hillary and the DNC tricked voters into helping her win the primary. Then, "Honest Bernie Sanders" turned around--after she cheated him out of the primary--and gave her his full endorsement.
BTW: Don't suppose for one minute that Hillary and Bill aren't rich...

EZ "You're gonna love the next president."
Treevet "You're not."
@Steve Connally, I didn't know you were with Atlantic.... Seem like pretty good guys.
Were you out on Dam Neck Rd on Tuesday? I believe I saw Atlantic there taking down a row of pines....
1. Take it one step at a time.
2. Follow your gut instinct.
3. Never get in a hurry.
The words of a great tree man. They buzz around my head all the time.
In addition: That limb/branch is fully leafed out. A lot of weight out there already. I bet you could have tied in at that same spot after leaf-drop and not have broken it.
Still: That tip was pretty far out on that limb/branch.
(I climb gums all the time as well) It would not have broken if...
About a month ago, I stopped wearing gloves--that's been a huge help. (What can I say? I noticed that Reg never wears them in his vids) I tell my guys to take them off while they're not handling rope. Naturally, some instances still require gloves.
Tell us about this lunch, Steve.
BTW, Treehumper just posted another fatality in a bucket truck yesterday. Thought it was ironic.

What Flying S. uses (Poly max) is more like the harder plastic used for CNC cutouts. It's great stuff! Waterproof and practically invincible.
Because I wanted sheathing only (*not load bearing) I went with a pvc sheet. It's used in kitchens and baths where moisture is a moderate issue. It's...
He's dead. Here. Read some professors who think he's dishonest. Discredited!? That would be an understatement.
