    Problems with the m tropic could be sourced back to the substandard fuel we use in the us. The fuel is cleaner in other parts of the world so apparently stihl has changed the micron filter in the saws to a smaller one to prevent small debris getting to the fuel solonoid.

    All is fine towing with a 550 until you blow a line on those juice brakes. If you’re loaded those trailer brakes ain’t gonna stop ya. You need a truck with air brakes.

    The last few times I ordered from TreeStuff the service was great. They switched around my order for me, call in to check, and emailed too to make sure i was satisfied. I always try to get my gear from shelter but now and then I go back to TreeStuff because they do a good job.

    I have to have the knuckle bearing replaced. The book is from 2001. I got a quote for 16k to do the job and test the boom. I need to know if this is out of whack with what I should be paying.
