    7' dbh cedar, 3 co-doms, 11 reiterations. Prescriptions?

mix of thinning and end wt reduction in the top/tips upper 1/3rd, maintain, observe and be sympathetic towards anything that may be acting as ballast against the more susceptible branch unions. That is one cool organism, will be fun.

    Bracing without cabling

I prefer to see reduced tree over removal. I believe and it's been my experience most people do as well. Topping is bad but removal is worse and cowardly. Extend the life of a tree and the value of a property and future work..plus it shows a greater level of thoughtfulness and practical and...

    Bracing without cabling

Topping is the only option. Oh sorry crown reduction. Removal is the last choice. Mother nature will do it for you eventually. Have some balls and preserve a large living organism. Primary duty as an arborist is mimicing nature not removing.

Fatal accident 2/20/2022 in Brown Deer Wisconsin

At times visual and physical I prefer ladders difficult for people to move or step over. Here it is federal offense to disrupt a work site so I have been told. Pulling a tree of the front entrance of an elementary school at lunch time is nuts. Mailman was the only one to try get through.

Is it just me, or is SRT strenuous compared to DRT?

work positioning i love my mrs especially at angles approaching horizontal. just easier for slack tending and fine tuning position especially when foot and hand ascenders start to make climbing the tree cumbersome. it is easier just to stand/step/crawl up the limb and reach up and pull the rope...

Has any one had a trusted worker, operate the lift from the base, inbetween the arborist making cuts?

reminded of belay speed climb with this technique, could be faster. could be safer. could be slower could be more dangerous. Too many variables. @Willber society tends to try to shut down creativity that isn't the norm. I believe you can win with this technique in certain situation, not all but...
