Acetone? Evaporates. Non-toxic (of course not for use on musous membranes, snorting, etc). The FDA (US food and drug administration) has deemed acetone safe in adhesives and food contact coatings. There are no critical health effects from exposure to occasional or intermittent use of products...
Maine is a beautiful place with some awesome people. I worked a few winter months in Madawaska (Canadian border) a few years ago. Loved it, despite the cold.
I heard this song in the shower this morning. My wife recognized it immediately. Evidently she discoed. If I had known that when I met her, we might not have gotten married. Of course, if she knew I went to the Mustang Ranch when I was 15, we also might not have been married. Some secrets should...
HRC 8mm Spliced Eye is what I used. Drags like Don Garlits. Got over 60 inches on 200 feet of Hyperclimb Cool.

I'm no expert, but when I milked the ropes I showed, one was barely used and the other was brand new. I'm guessing that makes a difference? Also, I pulled the Prusik hard enough to be breathing heavy after the first 40 feet. 200 feet was a bear to do multiple times.
I was thinking more in the line of a cat being born in winter up north probably lives indoors during the early stages of life, even if eventually an outdoor cat? Don't know if there is a difference based on weather/geography or not. But that was my guess at a possible reason why.
Maybe. But isn't that something people discuss? We have a tight community in our neighborhood, with garden club, etc. We know each other. Never heard a single story of a cat stuck in a tree down here. I'm sure it happens, just seems like Moss has a never ending supply.
Outstanding!
Strangely, we've had outside cats here in Charleston (South Carolina) for 40 years or more, plus our neighborhoods are generally crawling with neighbor cats who visit house after house. Never heard of or seen a cat get stuck in a tree. Is this more common in places that have actual...
I use mine to pressure cook tough cuts for stew at work. What would take hours in the crock pot takes about an hour. I pressure cook a lot of bone in venison and eat lots of the bones too in the stew.
I love this song. I'm not religious, or even spiritual, in any way whatsoever. I do go to church. Love the people there. Watching these people (the people enjoying the experience), they are all expressing pure joy.
Samson recommends soaking used rope several minutes before splicing. Maybe this helps with some new rope types?
I spliced that damn MFP dock line for my first splice. Unbelievably sticky under pressure. Going to try it again wet.
Whipping line size and material: Reading the Samson whipping instructions, this jumped out at me:
"The twine used should be approximately twice the diameter of the strands in the rope."
I see that we don't do that here. It looks like we use much smaller diameter twine. At least that's what my...
