Today I finished remounting the mic for my Sena Bluetooth on my protos. The initial location I chose wasn't working well so I decided to try and mimic the mic location that @treebing posted. I attached a picture of what I came up with. I think it will work pretty well.
@TimBr I was able to mount my go pro on the protos. I chose to put it on the top center on the helmet and it seemed to work out fairly well. As far as footage goes I have never attempted to post a video to tree buzz. I have not yet created a you tube channel so most of the clips that I make end...
Thanks for the responses. I was able to find a few pictures of the sena units mounted on the protos and so I went ahead and installed it on the helmet. Everything went well and got to test it out yesterday with a massive oak removal and it performed well I will just need to change my mic mount...
Hey all you protos helmet owners out there, I am looking for some advice and hopefully pictures of where and how you have mounted go pro mounts and Sena Bluetooth units on your protos helmets. I have mounted my other Sena units on petzl helmets but the protos is a very different helmet. Thanks...
We have kept very detailed records on our dingo and get about 500 hours out of a set of tracks. The internal drive lugs begin to wear and then we run the risk of throwing a track.
Royce we have a grcs and a Hobbs at the shop in Peterborough that we could probably rent out. I will need to discuss it with my boss but the Hobbs had never been out of the shop since I've worked there... Hit me up here or on Instagram @six.zero.three and maybe we can work out a deal
Thank you so much for this I have been looking for these components online but have been unsuccessful so far. Do you have any idea which size tree stuff is utilizing in their system? 1/4" or 5/16"?
Thanks I will definitely take you up on this offer! I would love to be able to sew multiple layers of webbing but I also don't want to spend a fortune on something I will be using sporadically. I'm not sure if I need one that will zig zag stitch or just a straight line stitch. Any thoughts and...
The splice eliminates the need for tying knots to attach your throw weights. This makes attaching and removing throw weights faster and more streamlined with no chance of your weight coming off the line if you use some type of slipped knot. It really comes down to preference but I love its speed...
I really like how professional all of your stitching is. Did you do this all yourself and if so What do you have for a sewing machine. I would like to get a sewing machine for projects like this but am not sure what to get.
I've been on a swivel for a very long time. I recently tried using a ring and dmm xs bat rigging plate but just couldn't get comfortable with either of them... I think I made it a week. The swivel is just simply more versatile.
I have been using a similar setup for quite some time now and have been meaning to post about so I'm glad that you did. The way that I avoid the cross loading of the carabiner is by tying a clove or a girth hitch around the stem and then attaching the carabiner or snap to a prussik loop I keep...
